Purse for my friend's birthday

I am in love with Timeless Templates from Lauren Meader! I purchased the template through Papertrey Ink (www.papertreyink.com) and downloaded and saved the template. I made this purse for my friend's birthday and it was easy to assemble! I used SU chocolate brown cs and mint green cs that I bought from Michael's and printed the template on it I used the swirl background rubber stamp that I bought at Joann's Fabric for the top only and added old brown button and ribbon to make it look pretty. Since I am not a demo, I buy the stuff that is on sale all the time to save money.

Halloween and Baby Shower card

I have been making Halloween cards last week and thought you might want to see them. The pictures are not good (do not know why!!). The first card, I used Haunted House cuttlebug embossing folder and EK bat punch and black grosgrain ribbon. The second picture with Jack O lantern basket, I used SU pillow pocket die cut (the pillow box bucket tutorial can be found at Splitcoaststampers.com). I found it was very easy to make! For the small pumpkin, I used SU tab punch and green with white dots ribbon to make it. I  got the information from hwblondstampermom at www.Splitcoaststampers.com.

I am going to a baby shower and my nephew and wife had been decorating their baby room with Classic Winnie the Pooh. I searched on the website for the honey pot template and punch art bee but did not see what I wanted. I decided to do the honey pot free hand and played with my punches. I liked what I did so I am happy with it! The "Dear Teacher" font can be downloaded for free at www.getfreefonts.info/free_font.dearteacher.html.

Gifts that I made over the weekend

I made two gifts, one for my friend's birthday as she is very involved in Red Hatters and one for my 7 year old grandson. For Red Hatters note book, I bought the notebook for $1 at Michael's and I had old SU stamp set that I used to stamp the background and picture. I embossed with clear embossing powder. Also I used MS red glitter that I got on clearance at Walmart to decorate the lady's hat and jewelry. I used MS arch edge punch on the edge of red CS.

My grandson invited me yesterday for Grandparent's Day at his school. We had danish and coffee then went to see the program that the kids did for grandparents. I gave him the box (Lauren Meador's "Captured Card Case" template), stamped with Robot stamp that I bought at Dollar Tree. I added silver glitter outside around the stamped robot. I put bagged popped popcorn, goldfish and pretzel sticks that I assembled in the box and tied with silver cording. The pictures are not great (not enough light). What do you think?
